Linen Supervisor (fixed term contract until January 2023)

Job purpose:

To supervise the day-to-day supply of bed and bath linen to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and efficient manner.

General Responsibilities

    • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following fire, health and safety standards at all times for self, colleagues and guests.

    • To be flexible to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.

Key Job Responsibilities

    • Evaluating the linen and availability of stocks

    • Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, misuse.

    • Ensure floor pantries are well stocked and tidy.

    • Maintain proper inventory for all the linens and monitor PAR level for all linen to ensure proper level of stocks are maintained.

    • Receive and stock all linens and deliveries in and out of the property to the correct point of storage area.

    • Monitor and request linen for all the pantries.

    • Ensure to follow the standards for issuing and receiving linen within the stores area of operation.

    • Perform all administrative tasks, as directed by the Assistant Housekeeping Manager or the Executive Housekeeper

    • Ensure prompt reporting, and handling of lost and found items, according to established procedure.

    • Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage area clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.

    • Monitor the performance of the entire Housekeeping runner/Linen runner.

    • Conduct daily briefing as required and communicate effectively.

    • Collaborate with other departments in an effective and friendly manner.

    • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and respected.


Knowledge and Experience

  • Able to work on numerous tasks/projects at one time

  • Highly motivated individual able to grasp new ideas and learn quickly

  • Has the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet company goals

  • Knowledge of MS office systems.
