Job Summary
You will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals and have access to cutting-edge technology to provide high-quality automotive services to our customers. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service skills.
Responsibilities:

Vehicle Diagnostics: Conduct comprehensive and accurate diagnostic assessments using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.

Repairs and Maintenance: Perform efficient and precise repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension systems, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.

Parts Management: Identify and recommend appropriate replacement parts, ensuring they meet quality standards and are compatible with the specific make and model of the vehicle.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and fellow team members.

Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed, including diagnoses, repairs, parts used, and other relevant information.

Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repairs, and providing cost estimates to ensure a positive customer experience.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including technicians, service advisors, and management, to efficiently prioritize and complete tasks, maintain a smooth workflow, and achieve departmental goals.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, trends, and repair techniques through training and development opportunities.

Equipment Maintenance: Keep all tools and equipment well-maintained, organized, and in proper working order to maximize efficiency and accuracy.

Quality Control: Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure repairs meet the company’s standards and industry best practices.

Working knowledge of auto data systems.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience at a qualified Main Dealer/Franchise.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Knowledge of automotive systems, mechanical repairs, and electrical/electronic systems.

Certifications: Red Seal, other relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) are required.

Customer Service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively and ensure their needs are met.

Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately diagnose issues and perform repairs with precision and attention to detail.

Problem-Solving: A proactive and analytical approach to identify and solve complex automotive problems.
